With all the tram works going on the buses keep changing. The easiest bus to catch now is the 22 or 25 at the last stop on Princes Street right outside 'Holland and Barrett'. This bus takes you down Leith Walk, Look out for the big old church half way down on the left hand side of the road, this is where you get off and Pilrig Street is just around the corner. We are just a short walk away at the first bus stop on the left hand side of the road.

or

The number 11 still comes directly to our door but now you must catch it at the last stop on George Street. From Princes street turn right up South St David Street past 'Jenners' and 'Sainsburys' turn left on to George St and cross to the far side of the road.

If you are arriving at St Andrews Bus Station you can pick up the number 11 across the road at York Place.

Catch the 7,14 or 49 on Leith Street (turn right onto Princes street from Waverly Bridge and just follow the road to the left outside St James Centre). These buses will take you down Leith Walk. Get off at the big church on the left hand side half way down and we are a few minutes walk along Pilrig Street.

If you are driving ....

From the South ....

Follow signs for Leith (Edinburgh North)

You will bypass Portobello and find the sea on your right ....

Things will look a little industrial for about a kilometer or so ...

You will suddenly approach a traffic light where it looks like a city with a multiple choice of streets ... go at 10 o'clock up Constitution Street until the next big light.
Go straight over onto Leith Walk ... a big wide street going uphill ...
As you climb you will see a large church steeple (spire) on your right (the tallest roof). That church marks the entrance to Pilrig Street.

We are halfway down on the left at the bus stop.

From the North ....

Follow signs for Leith ....

You will be on Queensferry Road for quite a few minutes ... keep going Leith (now on Ferry Road) .... when you see Edinburgh Castle on your right then you are quite near. You will pass a small traffic light and then come to a bigger one .... turn right here on to Newhaven Road and that quickly becomes Pilrig Street.

If you miss that turn no worries!

Keep going to the end of Ferry (not far) and turn right. At the next light turn right up Bonnington Road until you come to a 4 way junction. Pilrig Street is on your left.

From the West ....

Follow signs for Leith (Edinburgh North) .... you will hit Queensferry Road ... then follow directions as above ....
